With pizzas and more hot from an earthen oven, a new restaurant in Amity provides a truly Epicurean experience in an atmosphere both homespun and beautiful.

Spirited tale adds flavor to winery

Ghost Hill Cellars in Carlton is, according to local legend, haunted by a mid-19th-century gold miner. Troy Fossicker was slain with his horse, and now, the story goes, the two roam the land looking for their killers. Their image serves as the winery's symbol.

The water park at Evergreen is easy to spot — it s the building with the jumbo jet parked on the roof.

Evergreen prepares to make a water landing

In six short months, swimmers will be able to jump out of a 747 parked on top of a building and slide into a pool.

Wings and Waves, the water park on the Evergreen campus is scheduled to open in June. The aviation and space museums are pretty cool, but the new water park will change the landscape of fun in Yamhill Valley.
