Get out and have some fun in the Yamhill Valley.

There’s more to do here in the Yamhill Valley than simply drink wine. Whether you like your fun indoors or out, there are plenty of activities and events to choose from.

Our annual events span the calendar. Consider the popular SIP! wine event in March, the alien-friendly UFO Festival in May, McMinnville traditional summer street party Turkey Rama, Carlton’s art-and-wine Walk in the Park and the Oregon Wine Country Half Marathon.

You don’t need to have a special event to find some fun. Take a look at some of the ideas on this page. We’ll be adding more and highlighting your best bets for the coming months.

Here are some major events and things to do while you're visiting the Yamhill Valley:

March - SIP! McMinnville Wine & Food Classic
May - UFO Festival
July - Turkey Rama
July - International Pinot Noir Festival
August - Carlton's Walk in the Park
September - Oregon Wine Country half Marathon
All year: Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum and Waterpark
